Fall-Fest 2023

ACBO in collaboration with local Lions’ clubs invite you to attend Fall-Fest 2023! This is the first time offering this event in beautiful Wayne County from Friday September 29^th thru SundayOctober 1^st. Woosterfest, hiking, fishing, picnics and chill time are all on the agenda.

“Woosterfest is an annual Oktoberfest-style festival organized by the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce and held in downtown Wooster. Travel

Bus travel is through Greyhound on the Baron line with routes from Cleveland and Columbus. If you are arriving by bus please let us know so we can arrange a pick-up & drop-off.

Meals

Friday dinner & Saturday lunch are on your own. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are great eateries within short walking distance. Or, check out the many food trucks at Woosterfest! Saturday & Sunday breakfast is included with your room at Best Western. Saturday group dinner at a local restaurant. Sunday picnic boxed lunch at Secrest Arboretum

Friday evening & Saturday afternoon and evening.

Fishing/Hiking

Saturday morning from 8:30 – 11:00 am travel to the pristine Izaak Walton League 200 acre preserve for fishing and hiking. Insect repellent is a must!

Picnic/Hiking

Sunday following check-out from the hotel we travel a short distance to Secrest Arboretum for a boxed lunch picnic at Taylor Pavilion. Wander through the formal gardens or challenge yourself to several hiking options.
